Chengdu Yuanda Shopping Center

A mix used project located at the intersection of Tian Fu Avenue and Cheng Ren Road, 14km away from Chengdu City Center. Conceived and envisioned as a Landmark building, planted on a 10,000sm. footprint podium for commercial and office use, where three residential towers emerge from it. Visible from Tian Fu Avenue the 24mts. height podium emerges from the green belt with its astonish facade treatment, a playful array of monochromatic panels that go from dark to light gray, the towers in contrast are sparkled with colorful glass panels to clear differentiate the two uses.
A striking straightforward solution was the response to our client's project goals, objectives and budget, where low cost materials mingle with state of the art design resulting in this most sophisticated yet affordable architectural gem.
